Lovers of Arabia, Part 2

Total Deception, the second film in Csaba Borbely's costume trilogy set in Arabia, is probably my preferred film of the three, but for admittedly personal reasons. Borbely's imaginative approach to his craft surprises just as much in the other two films, Lovers of Arabia and Arabian Knights, and they are just as sexually explosive.

My specific attraction to Deception is found in the way Borbely uses two of my favorite performers, namely, Roberto Giorgio and Leslie Manzel. These two idols define gay porn superstardom because they have the three ingredients that are a certain recipe for success in this business: 1. Physical beauty, 2. Ultimate sexual versatility, and 3. A passionate intensity that is evident every time they are in front of a camera.

Giorgio was barely legal and still twinky when he broke into the biz with Bel Ami. If you are among the throngs who just can't get enough of him, watch perennial heartthrob, Max Orloff, drill his lights out in Teamplay.

By the time he debuted for Borbely, Giorgio had worked his body into near anatomical perfection, and so it remains in Diamond Pictures' most recent releases, Temptation of the Gypsies, Parts I and II, distributed by IMD. However, it may be time for Roberto to let his body coast. In Studio 2000's recent production of Down on the Farm, he appears dangerously close to that bloated steroid look.

On the other hand, Leslie Manzel, like the incomparable Orloff, apparently understands physical perfection and the importance of not over doing it. Throughout their long and storied porn careers, these men have maintained utterly ripped physiques without varying their weight by more than 5 to 10 pounds.

Having evolved over the last couple of years into one of the hottest manpussies in gay porndom, it is hard to imagine that Manzel began his career as a vigorous, dominating top. His early flicks, like Matt Sterling's Awesome and Herve Handsome's Male Search tell that story. I still remember my awe when first observing him give it up in grand style for Borbely's lens in Unleash the Beast, Parts I and II and Bikers' Bang.

It would be equally startling to see big topman Gabriel Stone, starring in Scene 1 of Deception, assume the prone position. With a horse cock and Brahma bull nuts, it's not likely Borbely would waste Stone's talents in a submissive role. None are wasted here as Stone pounds away on lovely Christopher Montana and newcomer Martin Hooker. Hooker gets a piece of Montana's nasty, too.

In Scene 2, Benn Davis and Ray Phillips absolutely tear into Manzel. Switch to slo-mo when Manzel squats on his big, shapely thighs and slams that bubble butt down hard and fast on Phillips' massive meat, but take a heart tablet first. Manzel throws such a vigorous ride on Phillips' big stick that one wonders if he is trying to get even or merely saying "thank you" for the jackhammer screw Phillips throws on him in Borbely's production of Rammed.

The last two scenes are woven together, alternating between a duo and a foursome. Giorgio is matched with blond, built newcomer Danny Fraser. These two generate such heat that Sergio Foster and Rick Bauer, spying from the next room, are moved to seek Adrian Bradshaw's assistance in manhandling very pretty bottomboy Josh Houston.

Of course, with pierced tongue, flawless physique and unsurpassed appetites, Giorgio simply exudes sexuality from every pore of his beautiful bod. Just sixty seconds of him in virtually any flick he has done justifies the full price of admission. Of note here, Fraser gives him one of the best rim jobs we have seen Giorgio get to date.

After catching several Borbely productions, one assumes that he not only knows his craft, but also loves it. Borbely clearly understands the whims of the target market he is attempting to reach, and he delivers satisfaction repeatedly. Total Deception is truly remarkable, but the collective Arabian trilogy is nothing short of masterful.

A special note to fans of steamy, dreamy topman Sergio Foster: although only time will tell, this might be one of his last lip-licking performances. To protect the identities of Eastern European actors, many of their works are not distributed in all or parts of Europe. However, web info indicates that Foster was outted and forced to give up his place on the Olympic wrestling team representing his home country. One hopes that if true, his private career will not suffer as well.
