Lucas Kazan leads the way in combining gay adult moviemaking with elements of classical music and beautiful imagery. The result is an amazing kind of art form never before seen in this genre.

In 2004, Kazan themed the visually impressive Backstage around Verdi's La Traviata, all filmed in Italy and utilizing many models from continental Europe.

Kazan continues his Romantic tradition in his sumptuously composed new film The School for Lovers. It deftly retells the story of the opera Cosî fan tutte, which works perfectly fine here even though that particular opera was written by Austrians, and not Italians.

Cosî fan tutte translates so "Women are that way," as depicted by the uniquely funny views of its author, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Consequently, The School for Lovers recasts the roles into gay couples, who are testing the limits of their own fidelity. Essentially, are all guys going to sleep around?

Impressively, Kazan's editing and pace makes The School for Lovers an improvement over Backstage, which some viewers felt was "too artsy and dull."

That would be an inaccurate assessment here. Kazan has populated his movie with the actual hottest models currently walking on the planet. Jean Franko, Matthias Vannelli and Roberto Giorgio do not receive deserved attention in the United States, but fortunately this movie allows their fans to see them like never before.

Jean Franko's Sexual Target

Franko (from Lucas Kazan's Love and Lust), plays the movie's instigator, posing the question in the form of a bet to Matthias Vannelli and Jason whether or not their boyfriends (Karel Rok and Dejdar) can remain sexually faithful. If they lose this bet, they must do whatever Franko says for twenty-four hours.

Franko easily peels off Dejdar. Dejdar practically leaps onto him while he smokes a cigarette.
