Falcon's Riding Hard is a great Wild West frolic from director Chris Steele, and one of the last movies he filmed for Falcon,
If this was an indication of the direction of his projects, then the studio clearly has missed a goldmine of future film possibility, because Riding Hard
is a first rate movie that works on every level.
The opening credits and introductions to each of the film's four scenes
recreate the old time daguerreotype film process used on old silent Westerns.
The finished product gives Riding Hard the look and feel of the classic movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, right down to the player
piano music. George Roy Hill would have been pleased.
Another tip of the cowboy hat goes to screenwriter Scott Swann, who has recently penned other engaging scripts for Raw 2
and the GayVN award winning Bi-Back Mountain.
It's nice seeing creative sparks in what typically could be another paint by numbers porn film.
