All American Boys is a classic 1980's film directed by influential moviemaker Mark Reynolds. The film describes a coming out by a French exchange student at UCLA. This was the first live-sound production of Reynold's Studio TCS (now the film is distributed by Jocks Studios).

The movie also represents a transition between Reynolds' simple sex-only loop films previously, and culminating in the classic Best Friends three years later. Sure, the sound is intermittent, and the story is a bit staged, but the models and the sex are typical first-class work from Reynolds.

The four sex scenes are enthusiastically performed by a hot cast, including the famous porn star Lee Ryder, who was at the start of his career.

Opening at LAX Airport, the picture-perfect, full-lipped Jacques Chalon arrives wearing an Adidas t-shirt and tight, faded jeans. He makes it to his dorm room, where he meets his roommate, blond cutie John Jeffries, who is lounging on his bed wearing nothing but tight chrome-yellow shorts.

They chit-chat (Do you get high?), and Jeffries changes for a date. Jeffries strips to night, which Chalon tensely notices, and leaves.

Alone, Chalon relaxes by stripping out of his short, and works on his erection. Chalon performs a very good solo; he also pumps the mattress, showing us his beautiful ass. He closes his eyes, draws his pillowy lips and shoots his load.

Later, Jeffries gives Chalon some verbal hints about his sexual orientation (I was always different.) but Chalon misses the hints, either the language barrier or naivete.

Next, Chalon meets the husky Bob Wade while jogging. Inviting him back to his room, he seduces Chalon, along with Lee Ryder. They offer him a hit of poppers, whereupon Chalon almost passes out. The other two jump onto him in which Wade blows Chalon, who blows Ryder. They are all great oralists.

Next, Chalon's cherry is popped by both Wade and Ryder. Chalon explodes while getting plugged, and Ryder shoots twice.

Later, Chalon reveals to Jeffries what happened. Jeffries then takes the opportunity to come out to him, and they lustfully attack each other. Jeffries turns out to be a top-notch cocksucker, and an ever better bottom. And Chalon proves to be a great top.

After this, Jeffries confesses that he has a boyfriend, which moves into a hot scene showing him with his sultry, dark-haired lover, Lyle Williams. This brunet-blond coupling is great, complete with stiff cocks, mutual blowjobs and big money shots.

After this, the film abruptly ends. There is no coda or final scene. Still, All American Boys is first-class moviemaking from the early eighties. Lee Ryder was the only actor to make additional films, but all the other models are sights to behold. Not as sophisticated as common today, it still explodes with great sex. It is well-done overall, and a worthwhile DVD to get.
