Since then Sagat's versatility has attracted a huge army of fans, arguably becoming the hottest, most popular performer in 2006.
Fans also recognize Sagat by the tattoo covering his head. Inspired by Latin homeboys and rappers, the dark tattoo follows their hair style.
Sagat's debut film was in Raging Stallion's movie Hard as Wood, a film in its Monster Bang series. The basic theme of Monster Bang movies involves bottomless bottoms getting mercilessly pummeled by tops hung like a tree trunk. Who else gets to break in the French newcomer? Michael Brandon, of course!
Hussein continues his on-screen pounding Sagat in the studio's mega-production Arabesque, another popular scene filmed outdoors. In the film's extras, Sagat mentions that although Hussein was "sweet," both models earned their money because they had to work naked in freezing cold temperatures.
Later in the movie, Sagat gets a fine licking from Manuel Torres. This "marketplace orgy" won the trophy for Best Group Scene at the 2006 GayVN Awards.
Sagat also decided to give the studio a hand with its edgy fisting film Hole Sweet Hole. Actually the movie is one of the studio's more accessible fisting movies, casting many of its regular over-sexed models for multiple scenes of ass play.
After this, Sagat starred in the definitive Raging Stallion look at leather, Manifesto. In a fantastic opening episode, he matches sexual skills with Raging Stallion 2005 Man of the Year Remy Delaine in a steamy clash of fat cocks and sumptuous butts.
Sagat also appeared in the studio's other major 2006 production, Bedroom Eyes, in which the guys enjoy sensual sex with a sharp edge. In the sequence titled "An American in Paris," Frenchman Sagat bags the visiting Kyle Lewis in a great flip-flop back and forth.
Sagat's subsequent movies continue to exhibit the man's intense passions, particularly his love for bottoming.
Sagat is also one of the highlights in the film Escape from San Francisco, not so heavily promoted as the previous movies, but still a DVD that makes for a nice evening at home. In the film's finale, Sagat joins an already incendiary coupling between Brandon Irons and Derrick Hanson. And that is an encore to Sagat's first scene where he bottoms outdoors for J.D. Kollin.
In 2007, Sagat left Raging Stallion for other studios. Still living in Paris, he struck up a public relationship with porn star Francesco D'Macho, a popular Hot House exclusive who starred in their military movie Private Lowlife.
Bruce LaBruce Zombie ProjectIn 2009, blogs reported that Sagat will star in a new hardcore film project from Canadian director Bruce LaBruce. The production includes many famous name porn stars, and wrapped in mid-August, 2009. Read our blog, Francois Sagat L.A. Zombie Project | Watch L.A. Zombie
In February, 2011, Sagat told OUT magazine that he was done filming porn, and wished to break into mainstream movies, specifically mentioning how Laura Herring broke through the glass ceiling in David Lynch's 2001 movie Mulholland Drive. Now, more than a decade later, we can only hope that some sharp eyed, out of the box film director will find a casting spot for Sagat, who is immediately recognizable by a legion of devoted fans around the world.
